Health & Safety is at the core of our business
Clifton Commercial Window Cleaning has an exemplary health & safety record. This is of paramount importance to us and we always look to update and improve this through regular staff training sessions specifically designed to instil the best working practices into the everyday systems and techniques used by all of our people.
In addition to our regular health & safety meetings we also have in place:
- Health and safety handbooks for all of our people.
- Induction training and refresher courses for all of our operatives.
- Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health).
- Trained and qualified Operations Managers.
- Dedicated Health & Safety Management team.
- Regular checks on all of our equipment (ladder logs, harness checks).
- Prior testing and certification of cradle systems by a third party for each building before use.
We understand that health & safety is more than just telling staff what they should and shouldn't do, instead we ensure our operatives embrace it as an essential part of their role and we encourage them to always look to improve every aspect of safety across the whole team.
We actively encourage feedback on specific cleaning tasks and possible risks at our regular team meetings to pro-actively manage and minimise day-to-day risk for our people, clients, contractors, public and communities.
Method statements, risk assessments and accreditations
All of our operatives are issued with quality in-depth Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all of the tasks they undertake. Clifton Commercial Window Cleaning Services are accredited by Safecontractor, Chas and RoSPA and also employ external Health and Safety advisors.
